Every year, TCS awards its employees who have stayed in school for years. The school recognizes their loyalty, dedication, commitment and contribution to the institution.

In the occasion of the yearly celebration of the Chinese Teachers’ Day and the World Teachers Day, the school’s Board of Trustees awards these teachers of their years of loyal service last October 6, 2020.

Recognition is a very rewarding experience on the part of the awardee. It builds off some of the well- known extrinsic and intrinsic motivational theories. It offers hope for meaningful recognition to the other teachers working to improve their work outcomes. Long before the “new normal” environment, the teachers and staff were treated to a sumptuous eat all you can buffet at Vikings Bacolod after which the recognition ceremony took place. But due to COVID restrictions this year, they were treated instead to a simple yet stomach-filling lunch at school in the confines of their individual work space.

The awarding ceremony followed at the school’s Grace Covered Court with Sir Andrew Tan, the school’s Board of Trustees chairman present.

The following are this years’ service awardees:

Seah Kaye Jolito(Grade School Teacher)10 years

Teacher’s Awarding Ceremony

The teachers and staff are very grateful to the BOT for taking care of them especially during this time. From the very start of the pandemic, the school has shown its support by giving a sack of rice per employee.

The teachers are also thankful to the Alumni who remembered their teachers through giving out another care package consisting of rice, canned goods and other grocery items.
