In connection with the 87th National Book Week Celebration last November 24 to 30, 2021, the Dr. Bi Chin Uy Learning Resource Center of Trinity Christian School conducted its online activity via Zoom. The theme “OUTcomes. OUTreach. OUTstanding Libraries Beyond Boundaries focuses on the libraries’ vision of working beyond boundaries with its stakeholders to develop the habit of reading, to enhance one’s vocabulary, for personal enjoyment and a good way to spend quality time with family and friends.
Students enjoyed the Book character impersonation, the virtual jeopardy and family feud games and the costume character contest.
Moreover, the 3-day booktivity was conceptualized to let the students know that the library is still very active in delivering information and in promoting the love of reading.
The Dr. Bi Chin Uy Learning Resource Center is filled with rich collection of books from fiction, general references, history, coffee table books and a vast collection of inspirational books among others.
We are thankful that the pandemic did not completely deter the services of the library as it is visibly active through the online program that it offers and this booktivity is one of them.
