School year 2022-2023 has finally ended. It was a great year for everyone. Amidst the challenges and failures, yet everyone survived and finally Trinitarians can heave a sigh of relief and can finally take a breather from the busy student life.
Closing exercises for all levels are finally completed. We congratulate the students for a job well done. The student achievers and the graduates are the happiest of their well-earned awards and diplomas.
There is a deafening sound of emptiness around the campus after students are gone for the summer. Remnants remain here and there that remind us these classrooms used to be filled with students: sticky notes, a broken pencil, pad paper on the floor; and as the doors of the classrooms are closed for the summer, many memories can fill the empty space.
For teachers, as they look at those empty walls, an assortment of emotions might overwhelm them: those feelings of unmet expectations, exhaustion, regrets, joy, relief, peace. That’s why the end of the school year is always a time for reflection and celebrations and rest.
Nevertheless, in the grand scheme of things, it was still a great year with so many lessons learned, skills developed, friendships formed among others. God be praised for this amazing year.
Meanwhile, each ending brings about a new beginning. While most of the students are enjoying their well-deserved break, the preschool and elementary teachers are offering various summer workshops and activities to those students’ wo might want to learn a thing or two and to make their summer vacation productive.
Parents might want to check with the teachers about these various activities like sports clinic, science activities, journalism, homemaking, and many others. These are short activities to make your child’s summertime fun.
On the other hand, enrolment is now going on for all levels. Please call the Students Development and Activity Center (SDAC) for more details.
