The Teacher Day celebration of Trinity Christian School was a blast as all students joined forces together to celebrate the day. Spearheaded by the Supreme Trinitarian Council under the leadership of Rocco Cortez, the activity was celebrated last October 6, a few days after the main celebration of the World Teachers Day.

Teachers were so excited as they joined join the fun, the laughter, the games, the program, the prizes and of course the food.

Students were all excited as they brought the activity to the next level. Preschool students gave their best in their song and dance performances. Elementary and high school students delighted their teachers through their various dances and songs.

Not to be outnumbered, teachers from different departments also performed their well-rehearsed dance performances that brought the house down.

Teachers enjoyed the raffle games and the give aways of the students but most importantly, they appreciated the efforts poured forth by the Trinitarian community  as their gesture of praise and thankfulness to their teachers.

It is a fact that most of the time, teachers perform many different roles: as a guidance counselor, coach, adviser, nurse, tutor and many more. They play these roles without hesitation, giving their best to make their students become better individuals. Most of the time, teachers sacrifice their time and go the extra mile just to cater to the needs of these students.

That’s why they deserved this celebration. It may just be a fragment of their appreciation, but their efforts went a long, long way because they made the teachers happy.

The celebration capped with a Thanksgiving Luncheon at Vikings. Thank you very much to the TCS Board of Trustees who sponsored it.

It was also during the luncheon that Teacher Service Awardees were recognized. They are the employees of the institution who have been in the service for ten years and up. The following are these year’s awardees:

                Rose Ann Diwatin                             15 years

                Joy Nemenzo                                    10 years

                Rainze Pameroyan                           10 years

                Sally Jane Lauyan                             10 years

                Gretade Marie Marquez                 10 years

The school is grateful for their loyalty, commitment and dedication to the institution.

Thank you very much students for your love to your teachers.
