In celebration of the National Book Week, the Dr. Bi Chin Uy Learning Resource Center headed by Teacher Lorelie Oregano, the Head Librarian of the school celebrated the event with the theme “Read, Reread, Relive! last November 22 – 24, 2023 with these days full of exciting and fun activities for all Trinitarians.

The preschool and elementary students were all ecstatic as they dressed themselves in their favourite cartoon/book characters. Everyone were so excited as they marched up the stage, described their character and showcased their beautiful costumes. Indeed, it was a fun-filled activity.

The preschool pupils also joined the Read-a-loud and colouring contests while the elementary pupils joined the book character impersonation and storytelling contests. These activities gave the elementary pupils a chance to show their creativity and speaking skills.

Not to be outdone, the preschool and elementary teachers joined in the fun by also donning book character costumes. The auditorium was filled with cheers and riotous laughter as they performed a dance number.

The high school activities levelled up this time with several competitions involved like the book spine haiku poetry contest and other booktivity games. A photography contest with the theme: TCS through your lens was also conducted.

It was a busy week for all Trinitarians as they joined the various activities that highlighted this celebration.

The National Book Week celebration is a joint effort of the all the departments for the purpose of instilling in the students the love for reading.
