After being postponed due to to the onslaught of typhoon Tino, the Triunity run was finally pushed through last November 15, 2025.
Crowds composed of Trinitarians from all levels, parents/guardians, visitors and fun run enthusiasts gathered at the schoool campus as early as 4:00am just to join the much-anticipated event of the year.
Running now for more than 10 years, the Triunity fun run is the brainchild of the TCS Alumni Association as a fund-raising activity for the projects and other charitable endeavors of the association and the school as well. But more than that, the fun run activity was organized to promote physical fitness and mental well-being while fostering community and social interaction. This event fosters community spirit, bringing together families, friends and even local businesses. Moreover, it encourages inclusivity and fun because it is designed for enjoyment rather than strict competetion.
The activity was subdivided into 5 different groups: the 15-kilometer run, 10K, 5K, 3K and 1K.
The Fun Run kicked off at 5am in the morning as students gathered on the school grounds, buzzing with excitement. After a quick warm-up and safety briefing, participants lined up at the starting point, ready to run, jog, or walk their way around the course. The focus wasn’t on speed or competition, but on participation, effort, and enjoying the experience together.
Throughout the run, the school grounds came alive. Cheers echoed from the sidelines as parents and teachers clapped, waved signs, and motivated the runners to keep going. Music played in the background, adding to the festive atmosphere and helping students stay energized as they completed each lap. Many students pushed themselves beyond what they thought they could do, showing determination and resilience with every step.
Teachers and staff also joined in, running alongside students or helping at water stations and checkpoints. Their involvement showed students the value of teamwork and community spirit. The event ended with smiles all around, tired legs, and a shared sense of achievement.
The event, which was also spearheaded by the BTCS Alumni Batch 2000, sponsored a Raffle draw and exciting grand prizes were awarded after the event to the lucky winners.
Overall, the School Fun Run was more than just a run—it was a celebration of health, teamwork, and school pride. It reminded everyone that when a community comes together with a positive goal, amazing things can happen. Many students are already looking forward to next year’s event, ready to lace up their shoes and do it all over again.
