The announcement was made during the 40th ACSCU-ACI National Assembly, held at Roy’s Hotel in Bacolod City, where BTCSI proudly served as one of the host schools. The national gathering last June 17-19, 2026 brought together school leaders, administrators, and accreditors from Christian educational institutions across the country to celebrate excellence, collaboration, and innovation in Christian education.
One of the highlights of the assembly was the keynote address delivered by Hon. Dr. Myrna Q. Mallari, Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). In her inspiring message, Dr. Mallari shared valuable insights on the future of Christian education, emphasizing the challenges and opportunities that educational institutions face in an ever-evolving global landscape.
Earlier in the day, Dr. Mark Anthony A. Durana, Education Supervisor of the Department of Education Region VI, presented a timely and thought-provoking session entitled “Innovation in Transformative Education.” His presentation underscored the importance of embracing innovation to develop future-ready learners and strengthen educational outcomes while remaining grounded in core values.
Adding to BTCSI’s achievements during the national assembly, Ms. Esther Jane Uy, School Head of Bacolod Trinity Christian School, Inc., was elected as a member of the ACSCU-ACI Board of Directors. Her election reflects the confidence and trust of fellow Christian education leaders in her leadership and dedication to advancing quality Christian education. As a member of the Board, Ms. Uy will help shape the direction and future initiatives of the organization in the years ahead.
Receiving the prestigious five-year re-accredited status and gaining representation on the ACSCU-ACI Board mark another chapter of excellence for Bacolod Trinity Christian School. These accomplishments reaffirm the school’s steadfast commitment to providing transformative, Christ-centered education while continuously pursuing the highest standards of academic quality and institutional development.
As BTCSI celebrates these milestones, the school remains dedicated to nurturing learners who are academically competent, spiritually grounded, and prepared to make meaningful contributions to society.
