Student officers from various clubs and organizations gathered at the Multimedia Lab on July 4, 2026, for a Leadership Training facilitated by the STC advisers and Head of Student Affairs, Teacher Gaurana. The training aimed to equip student leaders with practical knowledge and skills as they prepared for the upcoming school year.
Teacher Ramos opened the training with an inspiring discussion on leadership, reminding students that “Great leaders create more great leaders.” She emphasized that leadership is not only about holding a position but also about guiding and empowering others.
The students then learned about financial management from Xiaozhang, the school head, who demonstrated proper ways to handle and document funds. She also discussed RTI (Response to Intervention) and its role in developing the skills and behaviors students need for success.
Alumnus and former STC officer Brylle Roderos followed with a session on marketing strategies and techniques, giving students practical ideas for promoting their organizations and activities. The morning concluded with Teacher Gaurana’s discussion on team coordination, followed by group activities that strengthened the students’ communication, collaboration, and teamwork.
In the afternoon, newly elected STC officers continued their training with STC advisers Teacher Lomugdang and Teacher Vinco, who discussed different aspects of effective student leadership. Another alumnus and former STC officer, Gadielle King, also shared meaningful insights on purpose, encouraging officers to reflect on the responsibility and significance of their positions.
With every speaker sharing valuable lessons and experiences, the Leadership Training served as an inspiring start for the student leaders, preparing them to lead with purpose, responsibility, collaboration, and confidence.
