Ready, set, TriUnity!

Excitement filled the air at Bacolod Trinity Christian School on September 19 as the BTCS Alumni Batch 2001, with the support of the Supreme Trinitarian Council, the school itself, brought the much-anticipated TriUnity Run to life.

Long before the races began, the Grace Activity Center was already buzzing with energy. Students, parents, teachers, staff, and alumni gathered, excited to run, cheer, and be part of a memorable morning with the BTCS family.

The event opened with a prayer led by Teacher Menchu Jose, entrusting the day’s activities to God’s guidance and protection. Sir Mark Gomez then delivered the opening remarks, welcoming everyone and setting the tone for an exciting day. Soon after, participants got their bodies moving with an upbeat Radio Taiso session—because before you run, you’ve got to wake up those muscles!

And then came the moment everyone was waiting for: the starting gun!

The TriUnity Run featured five divisions: 15K, 10K, 5K, 3K, and 1K. Runners lined up at the starting point, some looking focused and determined, others smiling and soaking in the excitement. As the countdown ended, they were off!

Feet pounded the pavement, cheers filled the air, and runners pushed forward toward their goals. Whether they were aiming for a personal best, challenging themselves to finish a new distance, or simply enjoying the experience, every participant had a reason to keep moving.

And they certainly weren’t running alone!

At every water station, student volunteers were ready with refreshing water, enthusiastic cheers, and encouraging words. Their support gave runners an extra boost to keep going—especially when the finish line still seemed a little too far away!

Meanwhile, at the finish line, teachers and staff stood ready to welcome the runners home. Each participant who crossed the finish line received a medal—a small but meaningful reminder of the perseverance, determination, and grit it took to complete the race.

The excitement continued as runners gathered to celebrate their accomplishments. Cheers, congratulations, smiles, and proud moments filled the venue as the top finishers stepped onto the podium. But beyond the medals and rankings, every person who crossed the finish line had already achieved something special: they showed up, took on the challenge, and kept moving forward.

More than just a run, the TriUnity Run was a celebration of what makes the BTCS family special—faith that brings us together, friendships that keep us connected, and a community that cheers one another on every step of the way.

From the opening prayer to the final finishers, it was truly a morning filled with faith, fun, fellowship, and fitness.

And for every runner who crossed that finish line, remember: the real victory was never just about how fast you ran, but about the courage to start, the strength to continue, and the joy of finishing together.

Praise God for a successful event and for keeping all our participants safe! Until the next run, BTCS—keep moving, keep cheering, and keep the TriUnity spirit running strong!
