Celebrating the lives and dedication of the people who guide, inspire, and shape us, Bacolod Trinity Christian School (BTCS) held its Teachers’ Day celebration on September 28 at Uy Sun Soon Teck Hall, carrying the inspiring theme, “Teachers: Our Stars in Every Dark and Light.”
The celebration began with the grand entrance of the teachers and their respective escorts, who embraced the theme through their semi-formal attire inspired by the colors of the starry night sky. Deep blues, radiant yellows, and other celestial hues filled the venue, setting the perfect atmosphere for a day dedicated to the school’s guiding stars.
The program was made even more meaningful through a vibrant lineup of activities prepared by the students. They took the stage with heartfelt performances specially dedicated to their teachers and staff. Through music, dance, and creative presentations, the students expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the people who continue to inspire them both inside and outside the classroom.
The celebration also gave the teachers and staff an opportunity to relax, have fun, and create new memories together. They participated in exciting games and raffles, bringing laughter and friendly competition to the festivities. A heartwarming video presentation featuring memorable moments shared by the teachers and staff throughout the years also brought smiles, laughter, and perhaps a few nostalgic tears.
Adding even more excitement to the occasion, the teachers and staff took center stage and showcased their own talents through a series of singing and dancing performances. Their performances revealed a different side of the educators students know in the classroom, filling the celebration with energy, joy, and plenty of unforgettable moments.
More than just a celebration, Teachers’ Day served as a reminder of the important role teachers and staff play in the lives of the BTCS community. Like stars that shine through both darkness and light, they continue to guide, support, encourage, and inspire students as they grow into the people they are meant to become.
Their dedication, patience, sacrifices, and countless efforts deserved to be placed in the spotlight. The celebration was a heartfelt reminder that behind every lesson learned, every challenge overcome, and every dream pursued are teachers and staff members who choose to make a difference each day.
