After a series of discussions whether to push through or not with the graduation ceremony, the Senior High Department of Trinity Christian School finally decided to hold the Senior High Graduation Rites last December 11, 2020.
Moments before the ceremony, the students can’t contain their happiness as they gathered together and exchanged their lock-down stories.
Finally, each one of them went up the stage and accepted their diplomas and received confirmatory remarks that indeed they are graduates of Trinity Christian School.
But due to health protocols, parents of graduates were not allowed to attend the ceremony. This was to limit the number of people inside the auditorium.
It was a very simple ceremony but these Senior High students were already happy to finally end their stay here in school officially and with finality.
Walking down memory lane, classes were disrupted middle of March, 2020 due to the COVID pandemic with no time to say goodbye or farewell to their classmates. After the nationwide enhanced community quarantine, the school opened last July 2020.
On the other hand, the school looks forward to better days when normal activities such as graduations to return to normally; just wishful thinking though.
