In spite of the odds, Trinity Christian School has finally ended school year 2020-2021. It is a great achievement to wrap up the school year with all the challenges that this pandemic has brought through.
Walking down memory lane, every month of the pandemic school year brought a lot of challenges to the teachers. “This is something we haven’t ever experienced before in our lives,” one teacher said. “We’re all navigating through this, and there’s no road map telling us which is the right way, which is the wrong way.”
But as months flew by they have become adjusted to this synchronous and asynchronous learning mode. However it was also a challenge to encourage students to adapt this new normal. Along the year, teachers have to act as counselors and second parents to their students as most of them encountered learning difficulties, having been locked down inside the four corners of their homes for a long period of time.
Finally, the Senior High School students had their simple but very meaningful graduation last May 14, 2021. Again, adhering to the IATF protocol, only parents were allowed to attend the graduation.
It was a short but very meaningful ceremony of which all the senior high school students really treasured.
