A total of 228 student-athletes came together from August 20 to 22 for a three-day sports camp designed to develop not only athletic skills, but also discipline, teamwork, and character.
The camp brought young athletes through a series of activities focused on strengthening their skills, building camaraderie, and developing values that extend beyond the playing field. Through training, teamwork, and shared experiences, the participants were encouraged to grow both as athletes and as individuals.
Adding to the camp’s meaningful activities was a parents’ symposium held on Saturday, which gathered 83 parents. The session provided parents with practical insights and perspectives on how they can support their children’s athletic development, personal growth, and overall well-being.
Featured speakers Jose “Totie” R. Andes and his wife, Emily Lucy Andes, shared their experiences and insights with both the student-athletes and their parents, emphasizing the important role of support, discipline, and guidance in helping young athletes reach their potential.
The sports camp was conducted in partnership with AIA, reinforcing a shared commitment to nurturing young people through sports and helping them develop the skills and values they can carry with them both on and off the field.
