On a lively Saturday, August 15, the spirit of community came alive at the Grace Activity Center as BTCS Alumni Batch 2001 and the BTCS Alumni Association joined forces for a Zumbathon for a good cause.
Bringing together students, teachers, staff, parents, and fellow Trinitarians, the event was filled with music, movement, and plenty of energy. Leading the charge was Ching’s Dance Fitness Studio (CDFS), whose instructors kept participants moving with nonstop, high-energy Zumba routines.
More than just a day of fitness and fun, the Zumbathon highlighted the alumni’s commitment to giving back to the school. Mr. Jose Miguel Montinola, Batch 2001 representative, emphasized the group’s vision of investing in future generations by supporting the school and its students.
Adding to the festive atmosphere were various stalls that gave participants even more opportunities to enjoy, connect, and support the cause.
The Zumbathon forms part of Batch 2001’s fundraising efforts to help improve school facilities, particularly through the installation of additional solar panels. Through this initiative, the alumni are helping create a more sustainable school environment while contributing to the needs of future generations.
With every dance step, beat, and shared smile, the event demonstrated the enduring spirit of the Trinitarian community. It was a celebration not only of health and togetherness, but also of a shared commitment to investing in the youth and building a brighter future for the school.
